Downtown’s Newest Event Celebrates Trout Season
As winter gives way to spring, thousands of anglers prepare for one of Missouri’s most beloved traditions—the opening day of trout season at Bennett Spring State Park. This year, Downtown Lebanon is joining the celebration with its newest event, Hooked on Lebanon, happening February 28 – March 1.
Just 12 miles from Bennett Spring, Lebanon has long been a gateway for fishermen and outdoor enthusiasts visiting the park. With this new event, the community is embracing its deep connection to the century-old fishing destination, welcoming visitors with a weekend full of activities, shopping, dining, and entertainment.
A Celebration of Tradition & Community
Bennett Spring State Park is one of Missouri’s oldest and most cherished outdoor destinations, drawing generations of anglers seeking the thrill of casting their lines into the cool, clear waters stocked daily with rainbow trout. Beyond fishing, the park offers hiking trails, camping, and a relaxing retreat for nature lovers. What to Expect at Hooked on Lebanon
