Lebanon Now Awarded Chamber of Commerce’s President’s Award
At the Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Dinner on March 13th, 2025, downtown Lebanon’s Lebanon Now was honored with the President’s Award for 2024.
The President’s Award is the Chamber’s highest honor, presented annually to a Chamber member who has significantly impacted both the Chamber and our community. This award recognizes an individual whose dedication and service have enhanced the quality of life in our area. The recipient is selected by the Chamber President, reflecting their exceptional commitment and contributions.
During the award’s presentation, LACC Board President Emily Huckaby talked about Ryan Sherrer and Lebanon Now.
“Lebanon Now has rapidly emerged as a pivotal force in promoting business and community engagement in the Lebanon area. As a dedicated news organization, Lebanon Now provides timely and relevant information that keeps residents informed and connected. Their comprehensive coverage of local events, businesses, and issues fosters a well-informed community, essential for economic growth and civic participation. Notably, Lebanon Now played an instrumental role in the community-wide Day of Giving for Community Cares by providing all the marketing efforts, significantly amplifying the event’s reach and impact. Additionally, their creation of *Good Morning Lebanon* has significantly elevated the Chamber of Commerce’s visibility and influence within the community, further supporting local businesses and initiatives. By aligning their services with the Chamber’s mission to promote business in the Lebanon area, Lebanon Now has demonstrated outstanding leadership and community spirit, making them more than deserving of this prestigious award.”
